About The Position

Valparaiso Care & Rehab is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to help foster a warm, supportive, and homelike environment that prioritizes residents’ well-being, dignity, respect, and individualized attention. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living, provides companionship and reassurance, and collaborates with nursing and other facility teams to support coordinated care. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and assisting residents with mobility. Candidates should have a passion for geriatric nursing and demonstrate the C.A.R.E. values of Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Requirements

• Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Physical stamina, strength, and endurance to provide nursing services.
• Ability to collaborate and work toward shared resident-care goals.
• Interpersonal communication skills that support a respectful and positive work environment.
