About The Position
Whitney Oaks Care Center is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting. The CNA helps enhance residents’ quality of life while working alongside an experienced nursing team in a supportive environment. The position is part-time, with multiple shifts available, in Carmichael, California. Pay is $20.00–$25.00 per hour, depending on experience (DOE).
Requirements
- Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Ability to provide compassionate, resident-centered care.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or other healthcare experience.
- CPR certification.
- Experience working with geriatric populations.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine daily nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and physician orders.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and oral care.
- Measure and record vital signs, weights, and other resident observations.
- Assist residents with meals, hydration, feeding, and after-meal care.
- Help residents with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and transportation throughout the facility.
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
- Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate documentation and flow sheets.
- Treat residents with dignity, respect, and compassion.
- Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide resident care.
