About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential assistance to residents with daily activities and personal care, serves meals, manages laundry, communicates meaningfully with residents, and responds promptly to their needs. The role works collaboratively with other care professionals to support residents’ well-being and help them live their lives to the fullest. Available shifts are part-time second or third shift.

Requirements

• Successfully complete the state competency exam for CNA certification.
• Ability to move and assist residents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Genuine care and empathy for residents’ well-being.
• Accurately record resident information and vital signs.
• Work effectively with healthcare professionals as part of the Wellness team.
• Follow ethical standards and maintain the privacy of resident information.
• Criminal background screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Serve meals and ensure residents receive appropriate nutrition in accordance with dietary guidelines and preferences.
• Manage laundry to maintain clean and comfortable conditions for residents.
• Respond promptly and empathetically to residents’ needs.
• Work with other care professionals to support an effective care team.
• Record observations and updates on residents’ conditions accurately.
• Follow safety rules and infection-control measures.
• Participate in training and education to improve caregiving skills.
