About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Greensboro is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides compassionate care to patients during their recovery and supports their daily care needs. This is a full-time overnight role scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with compensation of $18.95 to $25.50 per hour and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Requirements

High school diploma/GED or at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
BLS required within 90 days of hire.
Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, nursing assistant certification, or experience in a related field such as medical assisting or active enrollment as an RN student.

Responsibilities

Provide patient services including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
Participate in hourly rounds.
Transport patients to and from treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
