About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Greensboro is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a central role in providing compassionate care to patients during vulnerable and difficult moments. This full-time position is located in Durham, North Carolina, and works nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Compensation is $18.95 to $25.50 per hour, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or relevant work experience of 3 or more years.
BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, nursing assistant certification, or experience in a related field such as medical assisting or active enrollment as an RN student.

Responsibilities

Perform patient care services, including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
Participate in hourly rounds.
Transport patients to and from treatment centers as needed, and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment, including bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
