About The Position
Nuclear Care Partners provides compassionate, in-home care for people impacted by their work in Department of Energy or Nuclear Energy programs. The Certified Nursing Assistant provides consistent, one-on-one, relationship-based care in patients’ homes to support their quality of life. The role is PRN and may involve day or night shifts. Compensation depends on experience, shift type, and market factors; a $1-per-hour shift differential applies to nights and weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Active CNA certification in Texas.
- CPR certification.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently in a non-facility setting.
Nice To Haves
- Home health, long-term care, or hospice experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Provide companionship, emotional support, and social engagement.
- Support meal preparation, nutrition, and light housekeeping.
- Monitor and report changes in patients’ conditions.
- Follow care plans and document accurately using EMR standards.
