About The Position

Allcare Home Health Agency, a locally owned and operated agency, is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants to provide high-quality, personalized in-home care. Caregivers support clients in home and community settings, including long-term care facilities and assisted living communities. The role is based in Durham, North Carolina, and offers a schedule from Monday through Friday and every other weekend, with a shift from 1:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Requirements

• Current North Carolina CNA certification.
• Current TB test.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Valid driver's license.
• Current auto insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional demeanor.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
• Follow individualized care plans and agency policies.
• Check vital signs.
