About The Position

Covenant Living is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide daily direct care to older adult residents in assisted living, skilled nursing, and memory care. The role supports residents’ quality of life and provides peace of mind to residents and their families in a supportive, faith-based community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state and passing its test.
• Listed on the State’s Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents each day and assist with basic personal care according to procedures and daily assignments.
• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, dental hygiene, toileting, grooming, feeding, and transportation or transfers.
• Maintain resident rooms in a clean and orderly manner, including changing linens, making beds, putting away clothing and personal effects, tidying bedside areas, and cleaning bathrooms.
• Assist with resident laundry, ensuring clothes are marked, clean, mended, ironed, and put away; notify a supervisor when clothing needs arise.
• Prepare residents for meals, assist with meal service, and feed residents as needed.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• May be cross-trained in Assisted Living.
