About The Position

At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is part of a compassionate team focused on providing exceptional hospice care to patients and families. The CNA works under the direction of the nursing leadership team to care for assigned hospice patients according to their assessments and individualized care plans. The role collaborates with the hospice care team to meet patient needs, promote comfort and dignity, and report changes in condition. The CNA follows company policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in the state or states of practice.
• Willingness to travel, with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and aide leadership.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities.
• Comfort working one-on-one with patients while supported by a dedicated care team.
• Compassion and commitment to improving patients’ quality of life.
