Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Home Health & Hospice
About The Position
First Choice Home Health & Hospice is hiring a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant to provide one-on-one personal care to patients in their homes. The role supports patients in maintaining their comfort, safety, dignity, and independence, and involves working with nurses, patients, families, and the care team while following individualized plans of care. This is a part-time position of approximately 15–20 hours per week, Monday through Friday mornings, with availability beginning at 8:00 AM. The work takes place in patient homes and residential care settings within the assigned service area. Pay is $19.00–$25.00 per hour, based on experience, with paid travel time between patients and mileage reimbursement.
Requirements
- Current active CNA certification.
- Availability Monday through Friday beginning at 8:00 AM.
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Strong communication skills.
- Comfortable providing personal care in patients' homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene.
- Help patients with mobility and other activities of daily living.
- Support patient comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.
- Observe and report changes in patient condition.
- Communicate with nurses, patients, families, and the care team.
- Follow individualized plans of care.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation.
