About The Position

Vibra Healthcare is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant for Vibra Hospital of Boise, a 40-bed critical care hospital in Boise, Idaho. The hospital provides acute care to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries, including medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. The workplace is described as fast-paced and friendly, with opportunities to get to know patients and their families.

This role assists licensed nursing personnel with patient care by providing and documenting activities of daily living, including personal hygiene and grooming, and maintaining a clean, healthy, and safe environment. The CNA uses basic infection-control procedures and basic nutrition and fluid-intake skills, and recognizes and responds to emergencies. The position is full-time on a day or night shift, with 12-hour shifts and a $5,000 bonus.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of experience as a Nurse Aide, or other relevant experience in lieu of education, will be considered.
• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant, as applicable in the state of employment, required.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required within six months of hire.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.

Nice To Haves

• Acute care or LTAC experience preferred.
