About The Position

Auburn Village has immediate openings for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) at its facility in Auburn, Indiana. The positions include full-time day shifts from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and part-time night shifts from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. New graduates are welcome. The role offers an opportunity to serve adults needing short- or long-term care while gaining clinical experience. Auburn Village provides long- and short-term stays, respite care, hospice services, rehabilitation and physical therapy, and respiratory and ventilator treatments.

Base rates are $18–$22 per hour depending on selected benefits. Night shifts receive a $4-per-hour differential, and the posting lists pay of up to $27.20 per hour based on benefits and shift. A sign-on bonus of up to $2,500 is paid at $1.20 per hour, including for part-time employees. Other offerings include mileage reimbursement for round-trip miles over 20, up to a 50-mile round trip; pay on demand; and a referral bonus if a referred candidate is hired. Requirements

• Hold a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Indiana.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Speak, read, and write English.
• Have knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, and HFS regulations.
• Have a good attendance record and longevity at previous jobs.
• Have basic computer skills.
• Be personable and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards.
• Demonstrate compassion, tolerance, and understanding of older adults.

Nice To Haves

• Ventilator experience is preferred.
• Long-term care facility experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses by providing activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meals.
• Document vital signs, weight, meal intake, bowel and bladder information, and other care information.
• Assist with restorative nursing duties.
• Answer call lights promptly.
