Requirements
- Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing from the state of NJ or certification from a state with approved NJ reciprocity.
- High School graduate or GED required.
- Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful and confidential manner.
- Ability to move/lift/carry objects up to approximately 25lbs and to occasionally assist in lifting or transferring elders weighting an average of 150 pounds.
- Ability to move about and in-between small homes.
- Flu vaccination required during flu season.
Nice To Haves
- Skill and experience with long term care, geriatric and/or dementia preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct resident care and assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, mobility and feeding to ensure that those we serve receive the highest quality of person-centered care in a caring and compassionate environment.
