About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant/Resident Attendant at Parker at Monroe will provide direct resident care and assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and feeding. The campus consists of six "small homes," each housing sixteen elders with similar needs, designed to promote independence, dignity, and community. Requirements

  • Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing from the state of NJ or certification from a state with approved NJ reciprocity.
  • High School graduate or GED required.
  • Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful and confidential manner.
  • Ability to move/lift/carry objects up to approximately 25lbs and to occasionally assist in lifting or transferring elders weighing an average of 150 pounds.
  • Ability to move about and in-between small homes.
  • Flu vaccination required during flu season.

Nice To Haves

  • Skill and experience with long term care, geriatric and/or dementia preferred.
