About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant/Resident Attendant at Parker at Monroe is responsible for providing direct resident care and assisting with daily living activities. Requirements

• Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing from the state of NJ or certification from a state with approved NJ reciprocity.
• High School graduate or GED required.
• Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful and confidential manner.
• Ability to move/lift/carry objects up to approximately 25lbs and to occasionally assist in lifting or transferring elders weighing an average of 150 pounds.
• Ability to move about and in-between small homes.
• Flu vaccination required during flu season.

Nice To Haves

• Skill and experience with long term care, geriatric and/or Dementia preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care.
