About The Position
Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant for its Med/Surg Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour day-shift position reporting to the Director of Med/Surg. The position receives assignments from the Charge RN and takes direction from the RN and/or LVN. It is directly responsible for delivering high-quality, individualized basic nursing care. The CNA/NA applies knowledge of patients’ age, developmental status, and spiritual and cultural diversity in providing care, and contributes to safe, high-quality nursing care and positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Current California Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
