About The Position
Monterey Park Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant or Nursing Assistant for its Telemetry Unit. The position is full-time and works 12-hour night shifts. It reports to the Director of Critical Care Services. The CNA/NA receives assignments from the Charge RN and takes direction from the RN and/or LVN. The role delivers high-quality, individualized basic nursing care and uses knowledge of patients’ age, developmental status, spiritual needs, and cultural diversity in providing care. The position contributes to safe, quality nursing care and positive patient outcomes.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Current California Nursing Assistant Certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
