RN-Clinical Care 12 Hour, Telemetry (FT, Days) Monterey Park Hospital
About The Position
Monterey Park Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Telemetry Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour day-shift position reporting to the Critical Care Services Director. The Telemetry RN provides care, treatment, counseling, and health education to hospitalized patients, and plans and coordinates their care from admission through post-discharge. The role includes meeting regulatory requirements and contributing to quality, safety, and performance improvement activities while collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to provide outstanding service to patients, family members, physicians, and the public.
Requirements
- Current California RN license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- EKG certification.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- New graduates welcome; recent experience of one year in an acute care setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide care, treatment, counseling, and health education to hospitalized patients.
- Plan and coordinate patient care from admission through post-discharge.
- Meet and exceed compliance with core measures and contribute to reducing length of stay.
- Actively participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement activities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians, and the public.
- Meet and exceed CDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC), and other regulatory requirements.
