About The Position
Monterey Park Hospital is seeking a Transporter for its Radiology Department. This per diem position works 8-hour day shifts on weekends and reports to the Director/Supervisor of Radiology. Under the direction of the Imaging Director/Supervisor, the Transporter moves patients between hospital areas and patient care units, accompanies nursing staff during patient transports, and assists the ICU with safely moving patients when needed. The role also transports and cleans dirty equipment from nursing units to Radiology and maintains HEPA filters throughout the hospital.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients to patient care units from various hospital areas.
