Certified Nursing Assistant + Med Tech
About The Position
Rolling Green Village, a not-for-profit retirement community with a 40-year track record of excellence and a 5-star nursing home rating, is seeking hospitality-minded Certified Nursing Assistants who also hold a current Med Tech certificate. Candidates should be dedicated to joining a team that provides outstanding care to residents. The Med Tech certificate must be current within 12 months. The C.N.A. assists licensed nursing staff with routine nursing duties and activities of daily living. Med Tech duties include passing medications and treatments as scheduled, being aware of medication indications and side effects, and notifying appropriate LPN or RN staff of changes in condition or incidents and events.
Requirements
- South Carolina Certified Nursing Assistant certification.
- Current Med Tech certification; it must be current within 12 months.
- Must pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical.
- Hospitality-minded and interested in joining a team dedicated to outstanding resident care.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, eating, bathing, turning, toileting, and exercising.
- Take and record vital signs.
- Transfer, transport, and escort residents as needed.
- Answer call lights promptly.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and keep rooms clean and orderly.
- Pass medications and treatments as scheduled.
- Be cognizant of medication indications and side effects.
- Notify proper staff members (LPN/RN) of changes in condition or incidents/events.
