About The Position
AffiniCare, Care Initiatives’ internal staffing agency, is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants to work at multiple Care Initiatives skilled nursing communities within a region. CNAs can select the hours and facilities that best suit their schedules, with a minimum requirement of 16 hours per month. The role involves supporting residents’ daily living, providing companionship and emotional support, monitoring health, and helping create a safe and engaging environment. Candidates must be able to travel between communities and live within a reasonable driving distance of Care Initiatives communities. Requirements
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Six months of verifiable experience working as a CNA.
- Ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within the region.
- Residence within a reasonable driving distance of Care Initiatives communities.
Responsibilities
- Support residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Provide emotional support and companionship while fostering a positive and engaging environment.
- Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
- Monitor residents’ health, including conducting routine vital checks.
- Encourage and facilitate recreational and therapeutic activities that enhance residents’ health and daily routines.
- Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within the assigned region to assist with open shifts.
