About The Position

Visalia Post Acute is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants to provide daily nursing care and support services to residents in accordance with individual care plans and facility standards. The role is based in a skilled nursing facility and is available for AM or NOC 12-hour shifts. The stated pay range is $18–$19 per hour, based on experience. Requirements

Valid California CNA license.
Minimum education of 10th grade or equivalent.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and documentation skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with residents of varying conditions.
Dependability, compassion, and a positive team-player attitude.
Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands and arms; occasional bending, kneeling, and reaching.
May need to assist in emergency resident evacuations.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide routine resident care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper techniques and equipment.
Monitor and record vital signs, weights, and food and fluid intake.
Promptly report changes in resident condition, injuries, and incidents.
Maintain accurate and descriptive documentation on flow sheets and charts.
Promote resident comfort and safety while supporting dignity and independence.
Assist with admission, discharge, and transfer procedures.
Maintain clean resident areas and restock supplies as needed.
Uphold resident confidentiality and facility privacy policies, including HIPAA compliance.
Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies and procedures.
