About The Position

CLFC Healthcare and Communications is hiring a per diem Certified Nursing Assistant at Wayne County Nursing Home, a county-operated, 192-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Lyons, New York. The on-site facility is rated High Performing in Long-Term Care by U.S. News Best Nursing Homes 2025 and has licensed nurses on every shift. The role pays $25.00 to $28.00 per hour, with experience determining the rate within the range and night and weekend shifts paid at the top of the range. Overtime after 40 hours and work on all ten County holidays are paid at time and a half. Confirmed shifts canceled by the facility two hours or less before they start are paid for four hours. Pay is weekly, and orientation is paid at the employee’s rate. This W-2 per diem position lets CNAs choose their availability and pick up shifts through the BRIDGE App, with no minimum hours. Shifts are available any day of the week and are typically eight paid hours with a half-hour unpaid meal break: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, or 10:30 PM–7:00 AM. Twelve-hour shifts may also be available. CLFC reimburses CPR renewal, supports continuing education and certifications, and offers up to $1,500 per year in tuition assistance toward an LPN or RN program. A $500 referral bonus is available for referring a nurse or aide who joins the roster. CLFC arranges and pays for fingerprinting, immunizations, screening, and license verification. Paid sick leave accrues under New York law, and employees are covered by CLFC professional liability insurance on every shift. A Program Manager provides a direct contact for scheduling and pay questions. Program terms are provided in writing before acceptance.
