Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Clifton Springs Nursing Home, (Part-Time Nights)
About The Position
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide high-quality, individualized patient care in collaboration with the nursing team. Taking initiative while assisting with and maintaining patient care is critical to the success of the team. The role is in the Short Term Rehab department at Clifton Springs Nursing Home and offers experience with a diverse caseload, including vent unit, dementia, long-term care, and short-term rehabilitation patients. The rehab unit is connected to a hospital to support smooth care transitions and experience with medically complex patients.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Currently hold New York State certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Hold a CNA certification issued by the NYS Office of Professions.

Responsibilities
- Provide or assist residents with activities necessary under their individualized care plans.
- Transport residents to and from activities as needed and provide leisure activities as needed.
- Perform evaluations and reporting.
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
- Help maintain a clean and safe resident environment.
- Support families and direct them to appropriate professional staff.
- Respond to resident requests in a timely manner.
- Receive and give reports to team members and team leaders.
