About The Position

Sandy Health and Rehab is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community serving long-term and short-term care needs. The role supports a geriatric population and focuses on residents’ daily needs, comfort, dignity, and quality of life. The schedule is nights, 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., with rotating days and weekends. Requirements

• Current CNA certification.
• Compassionate communication with coworkers and residents.
• Willingness to learn and follow state, local, and federal long-term care guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Answer call lights and support residents’ daily needs.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including mobility, bathing, dressing, and meals.
• Monitor residents’ comfort, preferences, and dietary needs while treating them with dignity and respect.
• Document intake and output as needed and promptly report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Build relationships with residents and their families.
