About The Position

Regency Hospital - Upstate is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronically and critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Certified Nursing Assistants play a central role in providing compassionate care. This full-time, night-shift position is located in Anderson, South Carolina, with a schedule of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Compensation is $18.00 to $21.94 per hour, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Requirements

High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience of at least 3 years.
BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.
Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, nursing assistant certification, or experience in a related field, such as medical assistant or active enrollment as an RN student.

Responsibilities

Provide patient services including bathing with basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
Participate in hourly rounds.
Transport patients to and from treatment centers when necessary and assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
Maintain the cleanliness of instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
Keep patients’ rooms clean and orderly.
Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
