Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Clifton Springs Nursing Home, (Part-Time Nights)
About The Position
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Clifton Springs Nursing Home, you will provide high-quality, individualized resident care in collaboration with the nursing team. The role involves taking initiative while assisting with and maintaining resident care. The position is part of the Resp/Vent department and offers exposure to a diverse caseload, including a ventilator unit, dementia, long-term care, and short-term rehabilitation. The rehabilitation unit is connected to a hospital to support smooth care transitions and experience with medically complex patients. This is a part-time night position working 24 hours per week, from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., including every other weekend. The pay range is $20.00–$22.00 per hour, with a signing bonus of up to $2,700. Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Currently certified in New York State as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- CNA certification through the New York State Office of Professions.

Responsibilities
- Provide and/or assist residents with activities identified in individualized care plans.
- Transport residents to and from activities as needed and provide leisure activities as needed.
- Perform evaluations and reporting.
- Provide emotional support to residents and their families.
- Help maintain a clean and safe resident environment.
- Support families and direct them to appropriate professional staff.
- Respond to resident requests in a timely manner.
- Receive and give reports to team members and team leaders.
