About The Position
Clinton Gardens is offering a FREE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training program. This program is designed for individuals with a caring spirit who want to turn it into a career. No previous experience is required, only a commitment to providing compassionate care. The ASC Nurse Aide Training Program provides free classroom and hands-on training, allowing you to become a CNA in just a few weeks. Upon completion, graduates can find employment at any of ASC’s 100 locations across Indiana, with further opportunities for career advancement in nursing.
Requirements
- Commitment to providing compassionate care to residents.
- Completion of the Nurse Aide training program.
- Passing the State testing.
Nice To Haves
- No previous experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, and grooming tasks.
- Helping residents at mealtimes, including transportation and assistance with eating and drinking.
- Repositioning and transferring residents between beds and wheelchairs, or to the toilet.
- Obtaining resident vital signs and recording observations.
- Answering patient call lights and fulfilling requests.
- Building meaningful relationships with residents, providing companionship along with care.
