Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program
About The Position
UHS is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals for its paid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program at Ideal Senior Living. Participants earn $16.00 per hour while completing a comprehensive training experience in a supportive long-term care environment. Training includes hands-on experience and instruction in resident care, activities of daily living (ADLs), infection prevention, vital signs, and person-centered care. The program runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and prepares participants to sit for the New York State CNA Certification Exam. Upon successful program completion and certification, participants transition into a CNA position with Ideal Senior Living, with starting CNA pay of $21.25 per hour. The primary department is UHS Senior Living at Ideal. Multiple shifts are available for the subsequent CNA position. The listed compensation range is $15.00–$20.74 per hour, depending on experience. Benefits are available if hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled hours per week.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent.
- Successful completion of the training program and CNA certification are required for transition into the CNA position.
