About The Position

Mason Health and Rehabilitation is offering a state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program, with classes starting November 30, 2026. The program combines classroom instruction with clinical experience in an acute care facility, introducing students to the areas of care the facility offers and how to care for community members. Training includes 120 hours of instruction, clinical patient experience, and on-site training at no charge. Upon successful completion, the facility will work to help place candidates in full-time or part-time positions. Graduates may also pursue free QMA classes offered monthly.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Successfully pass the English, Reading, and Math Competency Test.
Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Have a passion for caring for people.
Demonstrate personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and other personnel.
Be able to handle confidential information discreetly and comply with Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
Have knowledge of personal computers, Word, and Excel, and be able to work with office machines such as fax and copying machines.

Responsibilities

Participate in classroom instruction and clinical experience as part of the CNA training program.
Complete 120 hours of state-approved training and clinical patient experience.
Learn about the facility’s care areas and how to care for the people it serves.
Upon program completion, work with the facility toward placement in a full-time or part-time position.
