About The Position

Mason Health and Rehabilitation offers a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program for people interested in learning about care in an acute care facility and supporting the people served in the community. The program includes classroom instruction and clinical experience, with 120 hours of state-approved training, clinical patient experience, and on-site training at no charge. The class starts November 30, 2026. After successful completion, the facility will work to help place candidates in full-time or part-time positions. Graduates may also have the opportunity to pursue free QMA classes offered monthly.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years old.
Successfully pass the English, Reading, and Math Competency Test.
Pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
Have a passion for caring for people.
Demonstrate personal integrity and the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and other personnel.
Be able to handle confidential information discreetly and comply with Corporate Compliance and HIPAA.
Knowledge of personal computers, Word, Excel, and office machines such as fax and copying machines.

Responsibilities

Complete classroom instruction and clinical experience as part of the CNA training program.
Participate in clinical patient experience and on-site training.
After successful completion of the program, work with the facility on placement into a full-time or part-time position.
