About The Position

The Restorative CNA provides a safe environment, emotional and social support, and assistance with residents’ physical needs and comfort in a skilled nursing facility. The role involves providing direct care according to each resident’s care plan and supervisor direction, and participating in restorative programs and activities that support residents’ well-being. The employee follows the community’s health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice, and performs other duties as directed by community representatives.

Requirements

Hold a current nursing assistant certification registry in good standing under the applicable state laws, or otherwise meet the state’s requirements to work as a Nursing Assistant.
Have a high school diploma or GED, or be actively enrolled in a high school program.

Responsibilities

Provide a safe environment and emotional and social support for residents.
Attend to residents’ physical needs and comfort in a skilled nursing facility.
Provide direct care as assigned, in accordance with residents’ care plans and supervisor direction.
Participate in restorative programs and activities to support residents’ well-being.
Follow health, sanitary, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice.
Perform other duties as directed by community representatives.
