About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults in their homes. The role provides in-home personal care and assistance with daily living, companionship, and practical household and community tasks. Work takes place in person at clients’ homes in the listed local service area. The local agency is an independently owned and operated franchise; hiring decisions are made by the franchisee.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
• Have a valid driver’s license and a reliable car.
• Be available to work in Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, St. Johns, Nassau, and Volusia counties.
• Have CPR certification.
• Complete a Level 2 background check.
• Complete 1-hour Alzheimer’s training.
• Complete HIV/AIDS training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene support as needed.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
• Help with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Prepare meals and provide hydration reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, including tidying, laundry, and dishes.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
