About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking reliable caregivers to support seniors and adults in their homes. The role offers fast onboarding, flexible schedules, and steady hours for top performers. Caregivers work in person in client homes across Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, St. Johns, Nassau, and Volusia counties and surrounding areas. Typical duties include personal care and hygiene support, mobility assistance, help with daily activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, prescription pickup, help with telehealth visits, and companionship. The position is available full-time or part-time, with flexible shifts of 4–12 hours and occasional 24/7 shifts available. Weekend shifts are available. Pay is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, with a $300 bonus for completing 80 hours. Eligible employees may receive dental insurance, a 401(k), and virtual telehealth, for which Home Helpers pays 50% of employee-only telehealth. Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Have a valid driver’s license and a reliable car.
Be available to work in Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, St. Johns, Nassau, and Volusia counties.
Have CPR certification.
Complete a Level 2 background check.
Have 1-hour Alzheimer’s training.
Have HIV/AIDS training.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and hygiene support as needed.
Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
Help with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
Prepare meals and provide hydration reminders.
Perform light housekeeping, including tidying, laundry, and dishes.
Provide shopping, errands, and transportation.
Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
