About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking reliable caregivers to support seniors and adults in their homes. The role provides personal care, assistance with daily activities, household help, transportation, and companionship in clients’ homes across Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, St. Johns, Nassau, and Volusia counties and surrounding cities. Work is in person at client homes in the local service area.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable car.
• Available to work in Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, St. Johns, Nassau, and Volusia counties.
• CPR certification.
• Level 2 background check.
• One-hour Alzheimer’s training.
• HIV/AIDS training.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and hygiene support as needed.
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
• Help clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
• Prepare meals and provide hydration reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, including tidying, laundry, and dishes.
• Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
• Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
