About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care is seeking reliable, compassionate caregivers to support seniors and adults in their homes. The role provides personal care and assistance with everyday activities, household tasks, transportation, and companionship in clients’ homes across the listed service counties. The company describes a friendly, supportive culture, fast onboarding, initial and ongoing training, and flexible schedules. Schedules range from 4 to 12 hours, with occasional 24/7 shifts and weekend shifts available. The position is offered as full-time or part-time. Compensation is $16.00–$17.00 per hour, with a $300 bonus after completing 80 hours. Eligible employees may receive dental insurance, a 401(k), and partial coverage for employee-only virtual telehealth.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States.
Have a valid driver’s license and reliable car.
Be available to work in Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, St. Johns, Nassau, and Volusia counties.
Have CPR certification.
Complete a Level 2 background check.
Complete 1-hour Alzheimer’s training.
Complete HIV/AIDS training.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care and hygiene support as needed.
Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
Help clients with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.
Prepare meals and provide hydration reminders.
Perform light housekeeping, including tidying, laundry, and dishes.
Assist with shopping, errands, and transportation.
Pick up prescriptions and assist with telehealth visits.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
