About The Position
As a Certified Nursing Aide at Waterford at Plano, you will help create a welcoming, safe, and caring home for residents. Working closely with the community team, you will contribute to the exceptional care and resident experience. The role involves providing assistance with personal care, meals, medication reminders, and observing and reporting changes in residents’ behavior or condition.
Requirements
- Must be licensed in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant and maintain current, active, and unencumbered licensure.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- A caring attitude and reliable attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or guest service is preferred but not required.
- High school graduate or GED preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties in accordance with accepted standards of resident care.
- Assist residents with dressing, grooming, bathing, escorts, and transfers.
- Assist with residents’ nutritional needs, including setting dining tables, serving meals, providing appropriate fluids, and offering substitutions when appropriate.
- Remind residents to take medication and open containers and packages for them.
- Recognize changes in residents’ behavior and conditions and report them to the Assisted Living Director.
