About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide delivers individualized resident care according to each resident’s care plan, assisting with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity. The role includes reporting changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team and building compassionate, positive connections with residents and their families. The aide participates in educational and staff learning activities and follows rules governing confidentiality and privacy of resident information. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members compassionately to create a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
