Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)- 3rd shift
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized care to residents of Vivera Senior Living of Columbus according to each resident’s care plan. The role supports residents with Activities of Daily Living while promoting independence and dignity, communicates changes in resident health status to the clinical team, and builds compassionate, positive relationships with residents and family members. The position also participates in ongoing learning and follows requirements for maintaining the confidentiality and privacy of resident information. This is a full-time, third-shift position in Columbus, Indiana, paying $17.50–$18.00 per hour, with a $2.00 shift differential.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding the confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
