About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized care according to each resident’s care plan, helping residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and preserving dignity. The role includes reporting changes in residents’ health to the clinical team and communicating compassionately with residents and their families. The aide participates in educational and staff learning opportunities and follows requirements for confidentiality and resident privacy.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized care in accordance with each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect compassionately with residents and family members to create a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning opportunities.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
