About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized care based on each resident’s care plan. The role assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and preserving dignity. The aide reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team and communicates compassionately with residents and their family members. The position also involves ongoing learning through educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences, along with compliance with confidentiality and privacy requirements. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Engage compassionately with residents and family members to create a positive experience.
• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning opportunities.
• Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
