About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide delivers individualized resident care according to each resident’s care plan. The role assists residents with Activities of Daily Living while promoting independence and preserving dignity, reports changes in resident health status to the clinical team, and builds compassionate, positive connections with residents and their families. The aide also participates in ongoing learning and follows rules and regulations for protecting resident confidentiality and privacy. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect compassionately with residents and family members to create a lasting, positive experience.
• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning and development opportunities.
• Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
