Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) - Part-time- 2nd shift- 12 hours
About The Position
Heritage Woods of Charleston is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Aide to provide individualized resident care based on each resident’s care plan. The CNA assists with activities of daily living while promoting residents’ independence and dignity, reports changes in health status to the clinical team, and builds compassionate, positive relationships with residents and family members. The position is located in Charleston, Illinois, and is scheduled for a 12-hour second shift. The stated pay is $17.00 per hour. Benefits and eligibility may vary based on employment status.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members compassionately to create a positive experience.
- Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning and development opportunities.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
