About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized, compassionate care to residents at Heritage Woods of Watseka. The role follows each resident’s care plan, supports activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity, and communicates changes in residents’ health to the clinical team. The aide builds positive relationships with residents and families and participates in ongoing learning opportunities. This is a full-time, second-shift position with 12-hour shifts in Watseka, Illinois.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team.
• Connect compassionately with residents and family members to create a positive experience.
• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning and development opportunities.
• Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
