About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized resident care according to each resident’s care plan. The role assists residents with Activities of Daily Living while promoting independence and preserving dignity, reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team, and builds compassionate, positive connections with residents and family members. The aide also participates in educational and staff learning opportunities, protects the confidentiality and privacy of resident information, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
• Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
• Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
• Participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
• Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
