About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide provides individualized care according to each resident’s care plan, assists with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity, and reports changes in residents’ health status to the clinical team. The role also involves compassionate communication with residents and their families, protecting confidential resident information, and participating in ongoing learning and staff development. The position is full-time at Heritage Woods of Dwight in Dwight, Illinois, on the second shift.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, individualized care according to each resident’s care plan.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect compassionately with residents and family members to create a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
