Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)- 2nd shift- 12 hours
About The Position
Heritage Woods of Watseka is hiring a Certified Nursing Aide to provide individualized, compassionate care to residents in Watseka, Illinois. This is a full-time position on the second shift, with 12-hour shifts, paying $17.00–$18.00 per hour. The CNA assists residents with activities of daily living while promoting independence and dignity, follows each resident’s care plan, and reports changes in health status to the clinical team. The role also involves building positive connections with residents and families, participating in learning opportunities, and protecting the confidentiality and privacy of resident information. Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan.
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity.
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team.
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
