About The Position
Atrium Health is seeking experienced CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIVES to join their Women’s Health team at Piedmont OBGYN, located in the S. Charlotte Ballantyne area. Piedmont OBGYN is an established practice that performs procedures at Atrium Health-Pineville Hospital, which has received recognition as a U.S. News & World Report best hospitals ranking and a top-rated maternity hospital in the US. The maternity center at Atrium Health Pineville is known for supporting various birthing options and collaborating with families to accommodate their birth plans. This is a hospital-based position with no outpatient/office requirements, offering flexibility for candidates interested in either rotating day/night shifts or a nocturnist schedule.
Requirements
- License to practice as a Registered Nurse required.
- Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board and approved to practice as a Nurse Midwife in the state of NC/SC.
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider from AHA required.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certified
- Minimum 1 year as a CNM or 5 years’ experience in labor and delivery
Responsibilities
- Hospitalist CNM or Nocturnist CNM duties
- Participate in a call rotation with 2 CNMs and an MD always on call
- Provide care within a hospital-based setting with no outpatient/office requirements
