Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) – Full-Time
About The Position
Saint Joseph Hospital is seeking a full-time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our highly respected, hospital-employed Women's Health team in Nashua, New Hampshire. This is a collaborative practice that includes Obstetrician/Gynecologists and Certified Nurse Midwives who work together to provide compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered care. The practice values collaboration, autonomy, and mutual respect. Midwives provide comprehensive care across the continuum, including prenatal and postpartum care, labor and birth management, newborn care, well-woman gynecologic care, family planning and contraceptive management, and menopause support and preventive women's health services. The role emphasizes preserving the core philosophy of midwifery while delivering exceptional evidence-based care and promoting shared decision-making. Requirements
- Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM)
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program
- Current or eligible New Hampshire APRN licensure
- Current AMCB certification
- DEA certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practice
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for collaborative, family-centered maternity care

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care
- Manage labor and attend vaginal deliveries
- Perform routine newborn assessments
- Develop individualized care plans that reflect each patient's preferences and goals
- Educate patients and families throughout pregnancy and beyond
- Promote informed, shared decision-making
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, lactation consultants, and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
- Deliver compassionate, culturally sensitive, patient-centered care
