About The Position

Elk Ridge Community Health is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their OB/GYN team in Flagstaff, Arizona. The practice averages 80 deliveries per month at a Level II Trauma Center (Flagstaff Medical Center), located 2 miles from the outpatient clinic. They offer state-of-the-art ultrasound on-site, MFM support for high-risk consults via telehealth, a C-section rate under 20%, and are the only practice in the region offering TOLAC. The practice provides full-scope Gynecological care, including menopausal hormonal and transgender therapies, and is supported by RNs, CMAs, an ultrasonographer, and an on-site English/Spanish medical interpreter.

Requirements

Have or be able to obtain an unrestricted Arizona License and DEA.
Hospital medical staff appointment to provide 24 hours of call a week as a 1FTE CNM.
Have a preference for or experience in an FQHC, CHC, or PCMH facility.
Must have or be able to obtain a Level One Fingerprint Clearance card.
Undergo drug testing prior to employment and be subject to post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return to duty and follow up drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

Provide 24 hours of call a week as a 1FTE CNM.
Deliveries take place at a Level II Trauma Center (Flagstaff Medical Center).
Provide full-scope Gynecological care, including menopausal hormonal and transgender therapies.
